Ryan Bergstrom
Chief Product and Technology Officer and Member of the Executive Committee
Ryan Bergstrom serves as the Chief Product & Technology Officer for Paychex. He was previously named Paychex’s first Chief Product Officer following the close of the company’s acquisition of Paycor in April 2025. In his role, Bergstrom is responsible for the product, engineering, AI, and IT functions at Paychex. His team guides the product and technology strategy for Paychex's comprehensive suite of HR offerings, as well as the vision for driving growth and continued innovation across the company's platforms.
With more than 25 years of HCM experience, Bergstrom brings a proven record of success and leadership for creating and executing technology roadmaps that resonate with customers and achieve organizational goals. Prior to Paycor, he served as vice president of product management at Ultimate Software and held leadership roles at Epicor and SPECTRUM.
Bergstrom was named a 2026 CPO Awards winner by Products That Count for his impact on shaping the future of product leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University with special attainments in commerce with a focus on business administration, economics, accounting, marketing, and finance. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative (CYC). CYC is dedicated to empowering young people to overcome barriers and excel in education, career, and life.
