Joe Yantachka started Partyman Catering in 2000 with a simple dream: To be part of people’s celebrations. Twenty-five years later, that dream has grown into two event venues and a team of over 200 seasonal and full-time employees — from teens getting their first jobs to professionals who’ve stayed for two decades.
But with growth comes complexity. Payroll for a fluctuating workforce. HR compliance in an ever-changing regulatory landscape. Tasks that had to get done but aren’t Joe’s passion. As he puts it: “The HR side of business, the reporting and the compliance, the things that maybe aren’t so fun, just have to get done.”
