Chris DeSalvo

As the vice president of service excellence and operations, Chris DeSalvo oversees the continued growth and evolution of the company’s integrated, omni-channel service model, providing strategic vision and a strong customer focus to the proactive service organization at Paychex. Committed to giving clients choice and flexibility in their service experience, Chris is passionate about leading by example and spending as much time as possible in the field.

Prior to joining Paychex, Chris spent 24 years with Wells Fargo, most recently as the business’ shared services executive and, before that, as the chief administration officer of mortgage and retail credit. Earlier in his career, Chris was the chief financial officer and operating officer of Wachovia’s business banking and small business capital divisions.

Chris studied business administration at James Madison University and earned a certificate of completion from the BB&T Leadership Institute’s executive leadership program. Chris serves on the Finance Committee for United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
