How To Access Paychex Flex® and Reset Login Credentials

What You Need to Log In

You may need the following credentials to log in:

  • Your username
  • Your password
  • The answers to your selected challenge questions
  • Access to a personal phone

Forgot Paychex Flex Username or Password

If you have forgotten your login credentials, click Forgot Username or Forgot Password on PaychexFlex.com.

Retrieve Your Username

You will need the email address associated with your Paychex Flex account.

To retrieve your username:

  1. Select Forgot Username.
  2. Enter your email address associated with your Paychex Flex account.
  3. Choose 'Text' or 'Email' to receive your username.
  4. Select “Send Username”.
  5. Check your text or email to retrieve your username.

Note: you may need to check your spam folder for an email from noreply@paychex.com if you have filters or rules in place on your email account. For more help, select “Get Support”.

Reset Your Password

  1. Enter your Username.
  2. Select Forgot Password.
  3. Enter your Username and either your "Phone Number" or "Email" associated with your account for verification.
  4. Select the method where you want to receive the OTP (One-Time Passcode) code and enter the code received on your phone or email.
    1. Note: You may be required to provide your date of birth, last four digits of your SSN and security answers.
  5. Enter a new password and re-enter it to confirm the new password.
  6. Once password is changed successfully, access your account online at PaychexFlex.com using the new password.

Login Credential Maintenance

To modify your login credentials, switch from the Company Dashboard to MY ACCOUNT:

  1. Click My Profile. (1)
  2. Click User. (2)
  3. From the User screen, click Edit (3) to update the password or security questions.
  4. Click Save.

How Do I Contact Paychex Flex Customer Service?

On your computer, phone, or table, go to PaychexFlex.com and click on the blue ? (1) on the bottom right hand of the screen for the Paychex Login Assistant.
