Jobs Where Women Earn the Most in the U.S.

Compared with their grandmothers, women today have virtually endless options when it comes to choosing a career path. But which jobs pay the most? According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the highest-paying job for a woman is that of CEO. The job averages an annual salary of over $95,000.

Careers in health care, tech, and management dominate the top 10: Pharmacists claim second place, averaging over $94,000 per year, while physicians and surgeons command nearly $80,000. IT managers average above $81,000 per year, while software developers draw nearly $74,000. Management analysts earn over $70,000, while human resource managers bring in around $66,000. Outside of those industries, lawyers take third place with an average of nearly $90,000.
