Paychex Celebrates Year End with Season of Small Business Wish List Contest
As small businesses focus on achieving a strong finish to the year and look ahead to 2017, Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of human capital management solutions for payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services, supports and salutes their efforts with a promotional contest and multimedia campaign called the Season of Small Business. Beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 26, small business owners with 500 or fewer employees can visit the Paychex WORX page to enter the Season of Small Business Wish List contest for an opportunity to win up to $1,500 to use toward seeing their year-end business wish through.
To become eligible to win, participants must submit a form and answer a question about how they would use $500 to make their business better. Entries will be judged by a committee for creativity, potential impact on the business, potential impact on employees, and an overall assessment. Three $500 winners will be named in each of the six weeks of the contest. Of those 18 total winners, one will then be selected as the grand prize winner and receive an additional $1,000.
Entries will be accepted beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 26, 2016 with the first round of weekly $500 winners being announced the following Saturday, December 3, 2016. Weekly winners will be announced every Saturday until the end of the six-week campaign with the final weekly winners being revealed on January 7, 2017. The grand prize winner will be announced the week of January 9, 2017.
“The Season of Small Business spotlights the vital role that small businesses play in the U.S. economy,” said Andrew Childs, Paychex vice president of marketing. “We are especially pleased to offer small business owners a chance to secure additional resources that they can put toward making the wishes for their company come true during this important time of year. In addition, as Paychex WORX continually does, we’re excited to provide businesses with information and best practices that will help them be successful in the weeks and months ahead.”
Paychex will publish a series of articles, videos, and other content covering trends, tips, how-to advice, predictions, customer successes, and other information each week on its online content hub, Paychex WORX, throughout the six-week campaign. Weekly topics will include Celebrating and Championing Small Business, Tax Planning, People and Technology, Regulatory and Compliance Issues for 2017, New Year’s Resolutions for Small Businesses, and What Small Business Should Expect from the New Administration.
