Paychex Named One of the 2015 Best Companies to Work for in New York State

Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of payroll, human resource, insurance, and benefits outsourcing solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses, today announced it has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State for 2015. It marks the company’s second consecutive appearance on the list.

Vice president of human resources and organizational development Laurie Zaucha said the award is a reflection on the company’s strong culture and commitment to employees. “Paychex is a place where employees can take advantage of many opportunities, experiences, and chances to grow – all while enjoying great benefits and employee programs,” she said. “Our employees are proud to work here and proud to provide exceptional service to our clients – being recognized as a great place to work by an independent party attests to that.”

Paychex will be honored at a public awards dinner to be held in Albany in April. During the event, Paychex will learn its rank among the 34 companies in the category for large-sized employers with 250 or more U.S. employees.

Created in 2007, the annual awards are part of a distinctive program that evaluates and ranks the best places of employment based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. To be considered for participation, companies entered into a two-part survey process and fulfilled the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity.
  • Be a publicly or privately held business.
  • Have at least one facility in the state of New York.
  • Have a minimum of 15 employees working in the state of New York.
  • Be in business a minimum of one year.
