What You Need to Know About the Changing NYS Leave Laws

New York State (NYS) is expanding its paid sick leave (PSL) law to mandate the payment of sick leave to employees in the state beginning Jan. 1, 2021; given the complex requirements of New York leave laws — and the potential financial risk associated with non-compliance — businesses with employees in the state should make sure to review or revise their leave policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the expanding law.

To make sure your business is prepared for these changes, watch this webinar to learn about the new legislation in detail; review the many NYS leave laws in place, including NY Paid Family Leave (NYPFL) and NY Quarantine Leave; and to better understand the interplay between intersecting state and federal leave laws.
