Dave Wilson, the vice president of platform and technology services, is an accomplished leader at the helm of driving technological innovation at Paychex. With more than 20 years of experience, he is responsible for the core platforms and technology used to deliver Paychex products specializing in architecting cutting-edge solutions, spearheading a robust artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, and steering the Paychex Flex® platform development to new heights. 

Wilson brings a wealth of expertise in infrastructure, architecture, and product development, shaping frameworks that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices. His leadership in platform development has laid the groundwork for dynamic and resilient systems that foster innovation while navigating the complexities of software-as-a-service (SaaS), contributing to the organization's adaptability and operational flexibility.

Prior to joining Paychex, Wilson served as director of infrastructure and operations at Frontier Communications after dedicating ten years to PAETEC. Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Further solidifying his reputation as a leader in the field, he has received several awards, including being named a Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 recipient, the 2017 TechRochester, formerly Digital Rochester, Technology Leader of the Year award, and being recognized as Workforce Magazine’s 2019 Game Changer.
